Standing out in a saturated market

In a highly competitive category dominated by large, functional brands, Qizzle needed to carve out a distinctive place in the market. The goal was not simply to sell products, but to build a memorable brand that educators would recognise, trust and enjoy engaging with. Just as importantly, that brand needed the flexibility and creative energy to stay fresh and relevant over time.

Building a brand with staying power

We helped shape a brand identity that gave Qizzle a clear and compelling point of difference. At the heart of this was a playful, character-led world featuring five iconic monsters: Ziggy, Pop, Hamish, Izzy and Bounce. This gave the brand warmth, personality and instant recognisability in a category often dominated by more corporate, utilitarian competitors.

From rebrand to product range — and everything in between

As the business grew, we built on that foundation with ongoing creative, product development, and campaigns that kept the brand visible, consistent, and engaging. When a second name change became necessary, we guided the transition to "Qizzle" while retaining momentum and protecting the equity already built in the brand.

  • Brand identity

    We developed a bold, colourful visual language centred on custom illustrations and memorable characters, helping Qizzle stand out in a sea of bland competitors.

  • Rebrand (times two)

    Following the initial visual rebrand, we then managed a second, time-critical rebrand to the name 'Qizzle' in under six weeks.

  • Ongoing creative

    We continue to deliver campaigns, design work and product development that keep the brand fresh, cohesive and relevant.

  • Own-brand product development

    We supported Qizzle in developing its own range of distinctive school stationery products. The 'Kiwi Choice' exercise books, in particular, have become a favourite in the school stationery market.

  • Digital support

    Alongside the brand work, we also helped strengthen Qizzle's digital presence, supporting the business with a digital platform for growth.
